INSTALLED GAMES ON HARD DRIVE

Hi,

I recently upgrade my hard drive from 60GB to 120GB. I used a transfer cable to transfer all the data across. Once completed I tried to play an installed game off the new hard drive, it asks me to reinstall the game because it is not on the original console, which is it. The only thing different is the device id from the hard drive.

Please advice.

Seems like you will need to delete any games you have installed and re-install them.

Thats the thing, my discs are now too scratched to be installed.

For some reason installed games don't transfer correctly. I'm not sure if it's some sort of licensing thing or what, but the only way to fix it is by deleting and re-installing.
