Is this the only content you are having issues downloading?

The only one, and last night it finally downloaded

only for it to flash back and forth quickly between the xbox 360 start up screen and a black screen with red text saying 'there is a problem with the disc you are using, it may be dirty or damaged' but it clearly was from the xbox live marketplace.

Hmm, for that I would suggest deleting and redownloading (forums.xbox.com/.../33.aspx), but the downloading was the issue to begin with. It sounds to me like there is just some kind of networking issue here. Are there any other devices (computers, mobile devices, etc) sharing the network with the Xbox? Is the console connected wired or wirelessly? Have you tried to reset your modem/router?

When i download san andreas it never got stuck it would just take long to download

I purchased this today and the same is happening to me. it downloads to 98% then says cant download. I dont use a router and the connection is strong enough. i've tried clearing cache etc but just the same.

After trying to download it at least 10 times with no success i brought my xbox to my brothers and it downloaded 1st time no problem. He has a 20mb/s download 2.8mb/s upload compared to my 10mb/s download 1.4mb/s upload internet connection.  That is the only different thing. The game works fine too. No disc read errors. Sorry its not much help.

Trampdogg: Another thing to consider when downloading is how many other devices are sharing the network. Computers, mobiles, etc can all take bandwidth away from the console. Since it did work so flawlessly at your brother's, I would say the issue lies with your specific connection. Maybe contact your ISP to see if there is something on their side preventing the Xbox from communicating with our servers properly.

i tried downloading san andreas and it wont let me play it ??? re downloaded it many times and still have the same problem :(
