Xbox Live Not Connecting, Test Connection Works

So I've been trying to connect to Xbox Live lately and I'm having some troubles.  It's just not connecting me to Live.  When I go to test connection everything works fine, it goes all the way to the end with no errors.  Of course my NAT is moderate, but it has always been that way and has never caused me any troubles connecting before.

Here's all my data

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Anchorage, Alaska, USA
Modem brand & model number: RCA DCM425
Router brand & model number: Linksys WRT160N V2
Network Connection Type: Wired
Is UPnP Enabled? Unknown
Is NAT Type Open? No, it's moderate
Any Error Codes you encounter: none?
What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G? I'm not sure so I'll go with cable, how do you check
Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? GCI
When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? It goes through network and internet with no problem, it gets to xbox live connection and goes through that with no problem, although it shows the caution sign saying my NAT is moderate, which has always been that way and has never been a problem in the past.

Please try this and see if it works: support.xbox.com/.../nat-type-strict.aspx

I believe it's an MTU difficiency. If you call Microsoft they can run an emulator for your modem type and tell you the exact steps to set up your MTU so it can run. Best o luck!

Alright so I opened my NAT type, and in the process found that UPnP is also enabled, however that was not the error.  It still does the test connection but this time shows up with no error at all, it goes perfectly through everything.  I still can't sign into XBL though.  And my MTU is at 1500, I thought that was higher than the required minimum for xbox?  Or is there something else wrong with it.

Alright, Well apparently it's got absolutely nothing at all to do with my internet.  I just tried making a new live account for testing purposes, I got into it and connected to live no problems whatsoever.  So clearly it's something with my account, however if it's banned or anything there would be absolutely NO reason at all to do this, since the very last thing I did before this happened was update a single player game.

I swear if my account got corrupted by microsoft's garbage I will be so pissed off, I've been using this account for 5 years and to lose everything associated with it, well let me just say that I won't exactly be thrilled with Microsoft.

If your account is the only one having issues, first try to recover it to the console. If that still doesn't work, I'd call phone support (support.xbox.com/.../contact-us.aspx) to see if there is some kind of ban or suspension on your account.

I tried recovering my account, it gets about halfway through the process before disconnecting me and saying the service is unavailable.  I will call phone support, but I have absolutely no idea why I would be banned or anything from xbox live, since the last thing I did on xbox live was update a game, then go away on vacation and not touch my xbox for two weeks after that.
