turn off the N its a pain in the rear sometimes and manually set your wireless channel to 11
in your router settings under wireless look for "channel selection" , its most likely set to automatic , manually set it to channel 11
next your wireless interface type , its most likely set to something like 802.11 b/g/n you want to set it to 801.11 b/g disabling the N , theoretically it has faster transfer speeds (in real world terms it makes no differance) it also has better range but
once again unless you live in Buckingham palace you'll be fine :)
its not a guarenteed fix but worth a shot , it worked for me
