Weird high pitched noise(with audio)

Hi guys. Sometimes, when me and my brother have played a lot (let's say 4 hours, almost straight), the Xbox starts to sound weird (it only happens after 3-4 hours), a high pitched noise. I'm 100% sure it's not related to heat, since the room has air conditioning turned on all the time and it's very cold. Also, the sound seems to intensify as the game intensifies (like, for example, on FIFA, when you shoot and get a replay or corner). If I remove the disc, the sound still continues, it doesn't stop. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue. I have figured out what causes it, but not how to fix it.

A. Plugging your headset in after starting a party.

B. unplugging your headset.

Like I said, don't know how to fix it, but I have figured that much out. And it has something to do with game chat I assume, because if I go to the home/dashboard it stops. It is only when I am in a game or app that I can hear it.

Also when his is happening, I can no longer chat, party chat comes out of my speakers, instead if my headset, and no one can hear me. (My green dot in party chat disappears)
