turtle beach x11 help

hi i just bought a turtle beach x11 headset i have pluged all wires in as showing on the pictures on the set up guide i can hear people and they can hear me in partys but i cant hear any sound from the tv i have a xbox slim 250gb and i use a non offical microsoft hdmi cable to i need to buy any extras to get it working i have seen a audio adapter but dont no if this is the problem any help would be much appreciated

Did you change the Sound to Both. So it comes out of your TV and Headset?

Hi there, you say you use HDMI for connecting your Xbox to your TV.

With your X11s you should have received a cable with Red and White ends, you will need to plug these into an output on the back of your TV or if your TV doesnt have one, you will need an Audio Adaptor like this one.
