Ok so, I'm planning to buy the Star Wars Slim Console, cos I'm a nerd and I currently have the old Arcade. Now, it costs $600 from GAME and EB Games, obviously Australian shops. You can buy it off Amazon for only $450 which is obviously what I want to do. The problem is, it would have the US plug. My question is, can the Slim power brick still receive the old cord that comes from the wall? The one that goes to the old power brick? If it doesn't, I'll have to buy a trasnformer or adapter or whatever and I'm pretty sure they're expensive. Does anyone know where I could get a cheap one? Or could you just use the old power brick entirely?

US Console may be region locked also, then theirs a whole issue of your gamer tag in AUS / NZ region may not run with US console. Just stick with AUS and buy within Australia, trade some stuff in for it. EB Games have a + 50 % trade in going.

I'm not sure about the power cord, but you also need to consider the warranty. What happens to your console should it break down? does it have to be returned to the US?. I don't believe they carry an international warranty.
