alright im not sure what happened i went to install a game to my HDD but it said not enough room i went to look how much memory i had and found out i have 3.2gb so that means im missing about 247gb

Is your console's finish matte black or glossy black? If it's matte, then you have a 360 S 4GB. If it's glossy than someone is playing games with you.

You can also open the little door at the bottom of the console. If there's nothing there, then you have a 4gb console.
