E66 Error On update

That error message means, that the dashboard expected a different firmware in the DVD drive.

Have you ever given your Xbox console to a non-Microsoft repair shop? Or did you attempt to repair or flash your console's DVD drive yourself?

Yes I have you see it had RROD about 5 months ago i took it to a shop and he repaired it I instaled the update and it worked perfectly before but now it doesnt

Well, then sorry to tell you that, but that shop didn't do the repair correctly.

Yes, because the update specifically checks for problems with modified drive firmware. Since it is not known what the shop did do to your console, I assume the shop wrongly flashed a firmware to the DVD drive, and now future updates fail.

Also read in the Terms of Use under Number 12, that it is not allowed to let unauthorised persons repair your console.
