Whenever I try to recover the tag it tells me that i need to go to xbox.com/live with no other information.
So i logged into my account on xbox live, there's no messages, I'm not suspended and there's absolutely nothing that gives me a clue as to why it won't complete.
Scenario:
i had no internet connection at home so I've been playing from my friends console for the last 4 months. I move into a new house, get high speed internet then try and recover my gamertag "Unable to complete recovery. Please login to http://www.xbox.com/live for details."
I can login to my account on my friends console, can play live from that console with no issues; I was also able to recovery my gf's gamertag to my console which was part of my xbox live gold family pack.
What pisses me off is that the account I'm trying to recover is the main account on my xboxlive and it's also associated with all my other MSN crap. Any ideas on what to do?
