3rd Party Xbox 360 Headsets

So my third Microsoft Wireless Headset is about to die on me and I've decided I'm going to invest in a third party headset.  

I've been skimming over Turtle's Beach's offerings and so far the following two headsets seem to be their best offerings:

Ear Force X41

Ear Force XP500

http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/xbox-gaming-headsets/ear-force-xp500.aspx

 

The XP500 would be nice for the full wireless experience but the X41s do offer 10 hours more of battery life.

Does anyone have any opinions on the X41s or any other headsets (be they other Turtle Beaches or another third-party vendor's offerings)?

They break very easily...Iv wasted 300 dollars on a couple of turtle beaches :)

I would check out Tritton AXPro. It's in the price range you want and unless it has to be wireless no other headsets match it for sound quality to me at least. Another option is to wait since Tritton/Madcatz will soon have the only official completely wireless headset link. It won't need to connect to the controller at all to use voice chat.

Thanks for that info Smiling Cat!    I will definitely wait a little longer to see how those new Tritton's turn out!
