Hi all. Not sure if this has been answered before but it can't hurt. I'm currently living in what amounts to a portable cabin due to work. Because of this I am unable to access a wired broadband line. In Western Australia we have really good 3G coverage, so I was wondering if it is possible for me to directly use a 3G dongle/modem with my xbox slim. If so, what plan options would suit xbox live gaming?

I think i might be wrong but, I dont think you would be able to because the encryption on the 3g would be different from a router

Hi,
You can't connect the dongle direct to the Xbox no but you can use a laptop or Ethernet 3g router, there are things to be aware of with 3G though, have a look through this:- www.unofficialguidetolive.co.uk/.../140-can-i-use-3g4g-broadband-for-xbox-live
