"Could not load Direct3D" error message.

So yesterday (April 5th) I was deleting a few stuff in my hard-drive and I think I deleted by accident Direct3D in DirectX because I cannot enable it again. Can I just uninstall DirectX entirely and re-install it? I have Windows XP

Hello William,

1.       Which game are you trying to play?

2.       Is this happening with any particular game or with all the games?

3.       What is the make and model number of the graphics card?

You will not be able to uninstall DirectX directly from programs and features.

This might be caused due to various reasons:

-          Due to graphics card driver.

-          Due to DirectX in Windows.

Perform the following troubleshooting methods:

Method 1:

I would suggest you to install the latest graphics card driver from manufactures website and then check if this fixes the issue.

Method 2:

If that doesn’t fix the issue, then I would suggest you to update the DirectX and then check if this fixes the issue.

Refer to the link “How to download and install DirectX” to know how to download and install DirectX in Windows.

It happens to every game I try to play. I also cannot seem to install a driver, it's like if they don't see my graphic card. I have tried on many manufactures and they all say that there is no driver in my computer. And if I try to download one,  it says my computer does not meet the minimum requirement.

Hello William,

-          What is the make and model number of the computer?

You need a graphics card installed on your computer which has Direct3D feature in order to play advanced games.
