OS: windows 8 pro with wmc
Laptop: Acer Aspire 4253

1.)Last time my laptop was infected by a malware called sality. When that malware attacked my laptop my windows defender can't even delete it so i downloaded esetnod32 to delete the virus. After at which i deleted the virus(i guess) i used cc cleaner to clean up my laptop but then laptop crashes and auto shutdowns unexpectedly so i decided to reformat my windows 8 pro with wmc again. Until then i reformatted again my laptop it suddenly shutdowns a minute before or minutes after boot/windows logo.I did clean install too. After that windows 8 performed it's recovery to check for errors then it i did open my laptop but after minutes laptop again booted and i restarted and automatically the os repair setup started again. This happends quite alot now and it happens that lappy sometimes do system restore but then it didnt work. I bought a cooler for the lappy coz i think it is overheating but still it shut downs and Kernel Event ID 41 always pop up at the event viewer. I tried to check memory and the disk but still no errors that are found. I did scanfnow but still i cant find the answer.

2.) Also i have found out that antimalware service exectubale is hogging up my memory and if i install something the windows installer module is hogging up my laptop and it crashes down then restart.

It's been days really i havent used my laptop to the extent. So anyone can help me with this?

Hi Algin,

The kernel power event ID 41 error occurs when the computer is shut down, or it restarts unexpectedly. When a computer that is running Windows starts, a check is performed to determine whether the computer was shut down cleanly. If the computer was not shut down cleanly, a Kernel Power Event 41 message is generated.

Before we proceed with the troubleshooting steps, please answer the questions given below.

a)      Do you remember making any changes prior to this issue?

b)      Did you check if all the drivers are up to date?

Let us follow the methods given below.

Method 1: Run System maintenance troubleshooter.

Follow these steps:

a) Press Windows key + W on the keyboard

b) Type Troubleshooter then click on Settings under the Search field

c) In Settings click on Find and Fix Problems

d) Click on System and security

e) Click System maintenance follow the prompts from there.

Method 2: Try booting the computer in safe mode and perform a clean boot.

Step 1: Perform Safe Mode

Click the link and follow the steps “Windows Startup Settings (including safe mode)

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode

Check if you face the same issue in safe mode. If the issue doesn’t persists in safe mode, the place the computer in clean boot and check.

Step 2: Perform Clean Boot.

To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows 8 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Important: Reset the computer to start as usual.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to boot to normal startup.

a) Press the ‘Windows + R’ key on the keyboard.

b) In the ‘Run’ windows type ‘MSCONFIG’ and click ‘Ok’.

c) On the ‘General’ tab, click the ‘Normal Startup’ option, and then click ‘OK’.

d) When you are prompted to restart the computer, click ‘Restart’.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to perform a system restore and check if it helps.

Method 3: Perform a system restore.

Refer to the link given below and follow the instructions for system restore.
