Hi klscribe,

·        Do you get the message about the failure of updates?

·        Do you see any error code?

In addition to the suggestions provided, check to see if the following helps.

Step 1:  Check the update history to know the failed update and the error.

See which Windows updates are installed

Step 2: Check for updates and try installing them. Restart the computer when prompted.

Install Windows updates

Step 3: Run the Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Open the Windows Update troubleshooter
