Had a Virus, Slow Startup and has "I/O error status 0xC0000185"

Hi, I have just gotten home from being away on holidays, and found a fairly drastic problem with my computer. I turned it on, it started to go through the window startup. When it got to the window starting screen, it froze. So I restarted it and put into safe
to do a virus scan. This found one virus, I prompt resolved that issue. I then restarted my computer and it is now extremely slow (taking about 3-4 mins to open the start menu) and is also coming up with I/O status errors and 0xC0000185 errors, and seem almost
unable to open any program
