Original title:I can't connect to my wireless network. My troubleshooter won't run and i cant open Network and Sharing Center. I am pretty sure it is some type of virus. Please help.
It says "An unexpected error has occured. The troubleshooting wizard can't continue." when i try to run the troubleshooter.

When i try to open device manager or services.msc a message box pops up it says "MMc cannot open the file C:\Windows\system32\devmgmt.msc

Also it says my Defender pro subscription has expired even though i just recently added a year subscription.

Hi,

Did you make any changes on the computer prior to the issue?

Method 1:
Try the following steps and check if that fixes the issue:
a. Click Start, type cmd, right-click and select Run as administrator.

b. At the command prompt, type regsvr32 msxml3.dll and then press enter.

Method 2:
Run System File Checker (SFC) scan to fix any corrupt system files. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

Method 3:
Run a Microsoft safety scanner to make sure computer is free from virus infection:

Disclaimer:
If you run the virus scan the program that is infected with virus will get deleted. So you have to reinstall the program. Also if the files and folders are affected with virus then they might even get deleted
