Windows 10 accepting old programs

Hi Before I accept Microsofts generous offer of Windows 10, I would like to know if I can run some of my old programs on it. I have a copy of microsoft office 2003, yeah I know it's old but it works for me and I've gotten used to it. So will I be able to run this program? I have it working on windows 7 which is good. Can I have win 7 and win 10 on the same computer so I could switch back and forth if I wanted or if win 10 didn't accept it? I've heard this done with xp and win 7. Simple computer language please

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

Office 2016 Preview
Office 2013/Office 365
Office 2010
Office 2007

Older versions of Office such as Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.
