Windows 10 1809 October 2018 Edge

Hi

I have an issue with Edge and the Start Menu on Windows 10 1809

Edge does not accept copy and paste commands. I was able to get the keyboard input working by running ctfmon manually

The same rings true for the Start Menu, even doing a right click and running the selection yields errors, Powershell link does not work.

Windows Start menu exhibits the same issues

I have done the following

Get-AppXPackage fix, the Dism restorehealth as well as sfc none of which has fixed the issue

Windows 10 1809 is the newest feature release released yesterday-As it is fairly new, expect some bugs. In the meantime Microsoft fixes those, I suggest you to rollback to 1803:

Is IPv6 disabled? if so re-enable it

Note that it's possible for IPv6 to be disabled even if it appears to be enabled when you check the adapter properties.

Look in the registry at HKLM -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> Tcpip6 -> Paramaters. There's a DisabledComponents key there, and it needs to be set to 0."

Then I can only suggest you to wait until the next cumulative update.
One thing other, try creating a new user account and see if it exhibits the same behaviour
