PS/2 drivers windows 10

I tried to connect a PS/2 mouse and keyboard to investigate a possible problem with USB drivers after installing Win 10.

I connected them correctly I.E computer turned off before connection.

I normally use a Microsoft bluetooth mouse and keyboard from a USB port.

There was power to both the mouse and keyboard, both had lights on but neither responded.

Both worked previously in Win 7.

Do I need to download drivers to use them in Win 10?

Answer
Yes it is Windows 10s default behaviour to disable PS/2 ports if you install it without a PS/2 keyboard plugged in. I have had a number of new system units delivered with non working ports but so far the registry fix above has worked for me. There was NO warning of this behaviour and it took ages to figure out what was going on the first time it happened.
