Drawing Guidelines in Word 2010

I want to draw two guidelines through an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet that cuts it into four equal parts.  So I want to have one at 4.25 inches and another at 5.5 inches.   Please help.

The easiest way is to use the Mailings>Create Labels facility and select one of the other of the Microsoft 1/4 Letter labels (one is for portrait orientation and the other for landscape orientation)

and then after clicking on OK, click on the New Document button on the Labels tab of the Envelopes and Labels dialog.

If you don't see anything on the sheet, turn on the display of table gridlines, or if you want to print the lines, apply borders to the table (that's all labels are in Word, tables with fixed cell dimensions).

If your ultimate purpose is to get four pages to a sheet, you could just create the document in the normal fashion and then use the four pages to a sheet facility when printing.  If the content of each of the four parts is to be the same, just create a one page document and select the 4 pages to a sheet option and specify the pages to be printed as 1,1,1,1

Hope this helps,
