Skype for Business does not request microphone access on MacOS Mojave

I have problem with Skype for Business v16.23.65 on MacOS Mojave.

The app doesn't request access to microphone no matter what I do. Because of this, the audio doesn't work at all.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, resetting the MacOS access rights database TCC with tccutil, resetting NVRAM but nothing helps. Skype for Business is not visible in the Security Preferences-Microphone list. However, it does request access for the camera and that works, but not for mic.

At the same time other apps for example Skype work correctly and ask for the access rights to microphone.

Answer
We have identified an issue with the build 16.28.175 due to the hardening requirements for the Mac App. For now we have reverted back to the prior build 16.18.142. Please delete the app version 16.28.175  and install the current production version 16.18.142 from here (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54108) and let us know if you have any issues, concerns.
