Microsoft Office:Mac 2011 Toolbar Icons are Screwed up

Microsoft Office 2011, Mac, for Mountain Lion. I opened up Word and the icons are all messed up on the toolbars- e.g. the scissors for "Save", a blue box for "Cut", bold and italics are screwed up too...

Resetting the toolbar also did nothing to help...

Hi Peter,


The icon problem is caused by reinstalling without first completely removing Office.  The cure is to completely remove and then reinstall.  Here's removal instructions:
