Windows 10 Taskbar become unresponsive. None of the updated buttons work

Windows 10 taskbar has become unresponsive. None of the updated buttons work. Neither does Cortana, Notifications, Internet, Battery etc. Only task view works.

Right clicking on the menu button still gives its usual controls. but pressing the menu button is still unresponsive.

Hello folks

I also had the same issue.

Taskbar or Explorer or other window form applications were hanging over and over which irritated me so much.

In my case, after I disabled bluetooth device equipped with my ASUS P8Z68-deluxe mobo, I have been free from the hanging issue so far.

I'm glad if this resolves your problem as well.

Thank you so much!

*EDITED*

It's sorry but hanging issue still persists even after doing the above.

I think explorer.exe is something wrong, but I have no idea where the exact cause is.

I'll wait for another post.

After uninstalled the latest nVidia graphic driver 350.12 (which was supposed to be  prepared for Windows10...) and got back to version 347.25, then the crash completely gone away.

It seems graphic driver did something wrong to Win10 causing frequent freezing/hanging.

If you are still hanging around the hanging issue, give it a try.
