Purchased windows 10, but no product key given yet activated my windows

Is anyone able to verify this? I purchased Windows 10 through activation and was given an electronic invoice without the product key. Although it has activated my windows, but for future reference I would require a windows product key. However, I haven't been given one yet.

I've called customer service several times, they said I didn't purchase it and would prefer if I contacted the my region's sales office. One also said, the product key is now tagged onto the email you purchased on. Hence, for future activation I should login my Microsoft email to activate my windows when needed.

Anyone? Please share, or advise!

one of microsoft new security feature is to force users to tie new perchased product keys to a microsoft account.

so you could login at

https://www.microsoftstore.com

using the account you used and check in digital content if your copy of windows is listed there.

Doesn't show in account at Microsoft store but it shows in account.microsoft.com

I'm in the same situation. Been trying for hours but they always seem to find excuses to not give me the key. I've been pawned off to various departements. Some have been unable to even verify I purchased it. Others have tried connecting remotely and entering commands in to my command prompt to verify my copy of windows. They don't say they won't give it to me, they just tell me to contact a different department. I had one rep tell me that after a hardware change i could reinstall and co tact them for reactivation. Even if this does work, which I'm not willing to trust, it's a p.i.t.a.! Imagine buying a car and being told you had to call someone to start it every time you shut it off or upgraded the parts.
