Windows 10 Update Error (0x800705b4)

I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. For the first three days, my windows update was working perfectly. However, I have not been able to install or check for any updates since 7/31. I am now getting an error message and I have tried retrying the update every day.

The error message is:

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800705b4)

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

The error code which you have provided is related to Windows defender.

Have you updated all drivers?
