How do I email a complaint to Microsoft?

I've been staggered by how awful Microsoft remain in terms of customer service.

They really couldn't care less about their customers.

I bought a "signature" product from the Microsoft store, which was wrongly described in terms of its hardware (it wasn't as good as they claimed) and which they said could be upgraded to Windows 10.

I then called support who laughed at me for buying a poor product and expecting it to be able to upgrade!

(Despite them being that uniquely American combination of stupid and condescending, and categorically stating it couldn't be upgraded, I eventually managed to do it via a complex work-around)

I complained and was given the email address of a "manager" - Jonathan Fleischmann - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - who was just as rude and useless on the phone and who has never responded to the emails I sent.

I've been looking for an email address to write to. It's telling about how useless Microsoft are - they're supposed to be a technology giant and their global website says to contact them via a US telephone number! So far behind the times!

Does anyone know an email address I can write to?

I hope it's not considered "stupid and condescending" for this American to have been able to find this site in all of ten seconds of searching the web.

Just by way of update...

I emailed the address Jim found, and got a reply, which said how seriously they were taking the matter, and that I should get in touch, by phone, or by post, or if I wanted to, I could email them...

Anyway, the details on which to email which were provided to me were:-

This just redirects to https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb

Seriously, is Microsoft:-

  1. Wilfully mistreating its customers; or,
  2. Utterly incompetent?

It's one or the other, and either way, it doesn't inspire confidence in a tech company.

Microsoft's lack of support is known World Wide.

There should be a contact email address directly below the WINDOW EDITION of the OS you are running!!!

The advertising on my email covers the right side of my emails and I can not read the entire email. Please shut off these advertising's so I can read the entire email(s).

Leave it to Microsoft to not be of any help or answer any questions. I purchased three surface pro3s as a tester to see if we wanted to purchase a bunch more for our company. Two of the three didn't work, would shutdown automatically, wouldn't read the keyboard properly and would all of a sudden become a tablet without switching back. I went to the store 5 times, and no help at all. We got the full warranty, and they still refused to let us send it back - WORST customer service ever. I ended up buying the rest of the company Macs... They just WORK.
