I have recently gone through an automatic update to Outlook 2016 (Windows 7) and now have some serious functionality issues
I have noticed the following email related issues
- unable to send emails, whether new or replies (they remain in the outbox)
- unable to select different email accounts for sending emails
- unable to attach email signatures
Under File tab I get the screenshot below. Some comments here
- Windows 7 does not have any ability for metered connection monitoring/enabling/disabling so I don't understand this message
- Upgrade in progress for more than 15 minutes has been on for about 10 days
- None of the buttons on the page work (add account, account settings, mailbox setting etc)
I am now having to use outlook online. When I open Outlook 2016 it is still syncing fine but can't perform the tasks as listed above.
Functionality problems are the same across multiple internet connections (none of which are capped in any way).
Appreciate some guidance here
