No way to stop purchase of points, while still allowing multiplayer play

My son constantly is buying points and downloading games. I find it very unacceptable that the only way to block this from happening, is to block his ability to play games online with his friends. Just because I do not want to go broke, doesn't mean I don't want him to be able to enjoy time with his friends on multiplayer games.  Microsoft refuses to allow us a simple delete card, button.. so our lists get full of old outdated info. They suspend an account if you don't have up to date credit card info, regardless of if you still have time left on your live subscription.  All I want is a simple option in parental controls to stop the purchase of points without a password.  Why is that such an unreasonable request.

Please Microsoft.. help us out here.. The only people who would be against this idea, would be the kids who don't want their money tree cut down. It wouldn't even effect the others, aside from allowing parents some security while still allowing kids/teens to continue to playing with friends.

there is a delete payment option if the payment option is not on an active membership

this is stated in the terms of use

btw i guess you didn't read closely enough

If you don't see the Stop Purchasing options it means the account was created as an adult, there is no way to derank it to a child account, however there are other options to protect yourself:

1. Prepaid Credit Cards: Cards you can get at a local store, they allow you to add them on file as primary on billing.microsoft.com (will run a $1 pending transaction) and remove your actual Card.

2. Call to Remove: You can call Xbox Support and have them remove the CC

3. Family Pack: If his account is a secondary on a family pack he can't run monitary transactions
