Help with an xbox original game

Hello and sorry to ask this but i have tried every possible solution for my problem and still nothing. i just spend 1.2k microsoft points to purchase NG black from the marketplace and it seems i cant play it.. which sucks cause its a very good game... some help pls...

 

note that i have already tried the following :

deleted and re downloaded

yes i do have a 250 GB HDD

I format my HDD and re downloaded

yes my xbox is fully updated.

 

xbox is the slim version could that be the problem?

What happens when you try to play the game? Is the HDD an official MS hard drive?

it sais "the game couldnt start try re installing it for info visit xbox.com/support "

and yes i think the HDD is a microsoft one or thats what it sais when i go in system settings/memory.

i bought it seperatly i dont rly think it should be an issue tbh seperate or not its still a HDD i can play other things on it why not this. and its the internal one btw before u ask :P

The reason I ask is because if you bought it from ebay or somewhere like that, it could be a fake hard drive which is why it won't work with original games. An MS HDD is required because it has the emulation software on it that is required to run original games.

i see well yes i did bought it cheaper than the others in store which did smell fishy at the time but im like.. *** happens lol so how can i fix it if i can? :)

because i did buy the game and cant refund it so if it can be fixed with what i have do tell pls^^

You can't fix it. You'd have to buy a new hard drive.
