how do I get the code for it. I already have a Gun Club account but I don't see a code or a reward on my account. How do I redeem it or even see if it unlocked for me? Also is it for the full game or beta?

No this isn't a Veteran unlock...it's for belonging to Gun Club. You just have to be a part of Gun Club...and the M1911 Pistol will auto-unlock when you launch the final game. (*Not the Beta)

Battlefield 3 Veterans get M1911 Pistol
On September 20th, 2011 in News
For Bad Company 2, DICE introduced a new concept for Battlefield Veterans, who had played previous Battlefield games: they’d get a unique weapon to use, which was the WW2 rifle M1 Garand. Battlefield 3 will be getting a Veteran weapon as well, and it’ll be the M1911, the famous .45 caliber pistol that has been used for over 100 years.<br>
But you don’t have to be a Battlefield Veteran to get the M1911, you can get one by becoming a member of EA Gun Club — you can sign up here for free. The Gun Club page mentions to sign up and “unlock” the M1911, which indicates that the gun might be available as an unlock to everyone, while Gun Club members will get it much earlier.<br>

Thanks for that... really didn't see any info about Veteran unlocks for Battlefield 3.. was just trying to help out the community. **** also isn't it against Xbox Live forum policy to state my Gamertag on here? Maybe you should have done your homework on Xbox Live policies???
Thanks for the added info though... :)
