Gears of war 2 rank got reset????

Ok so iv'e been trying sence gears of war 2 came out to reach level 100 in multiplayer. Made it as far as level 50 and got reset to 1. Over looked it and continued to gain rank and recently made level 82! Was very proud of it too. Turn on my console the other day to play more gears and see that im back to 1. By now i should be 100 this is no fair. can anyone help????? I really wanted to reach 100 before gears 3 release but now that looks very bleak.

You should try posting in a Gears of war 2 forum because they would handle rank resets etc. and maybe they could help you get your rank back.

If you have lost privileges in a specific game (earning credits or matchmaking bans in Reach, banned from matchmaking/rank reset performed by Treyarch in Black Ops), you will need to contact the developer in question for assistance. The Policy Enforcement Team does not have the ability to restore lost rank, nor can we remove matchmaking bans or restore the ability to earn credits again.

Are your save games intact? I believe the rank is stored in memory, along with those files.

Some how they are but their not. It remembers that i beat the campaign on insane and that's it. And still no word from gears.

Some how they are but they're not? I'm not sure I understand. To be clear, are your save files present? If not, that's likely why your multiplayer progress is missing.

same thing happen to me last night. I was at level 100 now back to level 1.. I'm like WTF...
