Game DVR Problem

One of the problems I found while using windows 10 to stream my Xbox one was that when I try to record a clip using XBOX's DVR (NOT WINDOWS 10 Version of DVR) it wouldn't record anything. If confused I will Explain.

I'm streaming my Xbox on Windows 10, but I am unable to record using windows 10 due to my Graphics card.

So I double tap the Xbox button and hit X to record a game clip, but nothing happens

I Don't understand why there is a problem, the Xbox should be able to record since its being streamed to my laptop instead of actually running the game on the pc.

if Someone could explain why this is I will be very happy, especially if there is a fix to it.

  This is nothing you are doing wrong. Currently Xbox One does not support using the console to broadcast to Twitch or record Game DVR at the same time as Game Streaming. If you attempt to do so you will get an error message stating "Sorry, you can't record while you're broadcasting. Try again after you've stopped broadcasting." This might be a feature that gets added later. If you want to recommend it head over to xbox.uservoice.com and create some feedback for the request. Hope this explains what is going on.

I believe since its buffering the video to send to PC that it can not also supply the DVR, I would say its one or the other where and how the video is moved

If I read what u r saying correctly

But I'm not recording whither my computer, I'm trying to record a game clip lime I'm just playing xbox, not streaming it on with does 10. Do u have this problem?

You say the issue is due to your graphics card.  Which card do you have and what are the capabilities?  Perhaps the card is not powerful enough to allow streaming and recording via the Game DVR.

Thx everyone, I just didn't understand why I couldn't record a game clip, I figured I could just use the regular way of recording a clip ( Double tap Xbox Button, hit X )
