Bioware is working on Dragon Age 3!

Awesome news!

Ah yes, yearly iterations of Call of Duty, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and now Dragon Age.  Maybe next up can be Oblivion and Fallout.

Anyway, I'm hyped for this game. Hopefully they are granted more time for its development than they were for Dragon Age 2. Still a great game, though.

I'm still trying to find a way to get into DA II... then there's always something I want to do or try on ME series and I got completely side tracked

I've found Bioware to be pretty disappointing as of late. First they announce some dumb MMO instead of KOTOR 3, then they're making another Dragon Age? At the very least, I can hope it doesn't come out in less than two years and they actually make some improvements.

[/quote]That's up to EA, not Bioware. Before the acquisition, Bioware would spend 3 or 4 years working on a single game. Not even I can deny the quality of their titles has waned since EA stepped in to the picture.

I'm still playing Dragon Age II. Still in the very beginning stage. Overall I like the story, but gameplay still lacks IMO. I don't like the super fast movement.

i'm very nervous about this news. i loved the first game and actually enjoyed quite a few adds and changes in the second, but it is way too early to have any kind of thought towards another dragon age game. hopefully EA learned their lesson and will let bioware take some more time with this one.

Interesting. As I frequent the BioWare forums, I'm sure they have learned their lesson by the reaction of their own dedicated fanbase disliking more than liking what they did with Dragon Age 2. I suppose it boils down to if EA still wants that mainstream market to tap into RPGs or if they can find a blend that will satisfy both types of consumers.
