xbox 360 not connecting to a Cisco EPC3925

Hey guys. Hoping someone here can help.

I've recently upgraded my cable router modem to the Cisco EPC3925 on Telstra Bigpond for the ultimate speed package. I've gotten the new wireless N black adapter for my console but now I can't connect to the router, it seems to see the router when I broadcast my SSID but it won't connect. It connected fine with my old D-link dir-655 router and it still does if I plug it back in.

Any one able to help?

Lots of things can cause this.

On the router/Gateway (Cisco EPC3925)

1. Turn off the WPS (Wifi protected Setup) feature. Set it to manual instead.

2. Use WPA2 security encryption, not WEP

3. Make sure the MAC filter feature is disabled.
