Removing Achievements

the only way to remove that FIFA 12 achievement is to create a new account and start over, as there are no way to remove achievements from your accounts once they are earned sorry.

There is a way to remove FIFA 12 off our accounts, it is called deleting the data. Everything can be changed and altered, Our accounts are just data stored on some server in MS HQ, If they can reset the gamerscore of cheaters, then no doubt they can remove this game and its related purchased.

I was hacked on 15th this month, just got the account back yesterday, some #$%@ bought PREMIUM GOLD JUMBO, PREMIUM GOLD PACK and SILVER PACK  on my account, spending up to $124 (Refunded now), plus they have played and earned three achievement on FIFA 12 (worst game ever). Now this is a pubic record that our accounts has been hacked (I have the case reference number if you need to see it), we have suffered an injustice, and part of MS's effort in correcting this injustice is to return our accounts to its pre-hacked status. This is not some crazy demand of millions in compensation, we are the victim, and all we are asking for is to return to what it was before, not something MS isn't capable of, but rather can be done in few keystrokes, and yet we have been made to jump over one hoops after another.

Remember to have this FIFA 12 on our account is like to have a constant reminder of what the hacker did to us, its like been raped over and over again. To start a new account is simply out of question, I alone have played 20+ games, with countless hours, month and months of gold, thousands of achievements, nearly a hundred of DLCs purchased. If MS think only way is to start a new account, then we will be expecting MS to pay for all this. So why choose an expensive option, when a simple and cheap one is available, remove FIFA 12 off our accounts, remove the related purchase, and so we can go back to enjoy MS services. After all, this is not a rare event, Hotline support is telling me more and more people have fallen victims to this hack, so instead of ignoring us, I think it is time to put plans in motion and correct this problem, since more and more will come to here and ask MS to remove this game off their account. We didn't play this game, we didn't choose to be hacked, and we shouldn't be left with all the burden.

I recently had my account stolen and whoever had stolen it spent all my Microsoft points and played the game fifa 12.  I contacted Xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they aided me in recovering my account and getting my stolen points back as well as giving me a 1 month xbox live subscription to make up for lost time during the investigation.  I am extremely satisfied with the service of the support team in the promptness of the fixing of my account issues, however the game fifa 12 still remains on my Live profile and is as far as I can tell not removable due to having 3 achievements unlocked.  Is there any way in which I could remove this game, through an option or through speaking with Xbox support?  Thank you for all you have done thus far and I gladly await an answer."

I hope that we can get the game removed from our gamercards, it's kinda like a constant reminder that someone stole your account at one point.

Just a small thing that may help, I started a petition for those who want the game removed from the accounts of those who have had their accounts stolen and have had FIFA 12 played on it.

There is a way of deleting the achievements from FIFA 12 but it will include to remove your progress and history on it I'm afraid. Well, go to the settings on your Xbox 360 and go in to memory and click on your hard drive. Go into games and then you will find FIFA 12. Click on FIFA 12 and click on to remove it.

This will be difficult AutoSab, we didn't actually played FIFA on our console, who ever hacked us did, so if there are any progress or history on the hard drive, it will be on hacker's console. Unless MS track down these people, we can't do anything on our end, it is very much up to MS to fix this.

As a victim of being FIFA'd I would like to see a real answer for this as well. Let's get this garbage game that we didn't even play removed from our accounts.

@Grimkillah that's exactly my point, it is all data and they do in-fact have an "auto-mated" achievement remover/cheater finder. So my question is why can a human being not go in and remove them or reset my account the time right before I was hacked, I'm sure they're time stamped or something.

Regardless the fact is that "You must make a new account" and "There is no way to remove achievements once they're linked to your account" is false and not an acceptable answer. I am looking for a real answer, something along the lines maybe of "the person who removes the achievements will go blind and die" that's not saying it cannot be done but I am a moral person and wouldn't have somebody die for removing the achievements.

@Autostab I'm fairly certain that only applies if you're not connected to Xbox live with the achievements. Meaning if I got 5 achievements offline and then deleted the game history the achievements would also be deleted. This is not the case with the FIFA 12 hack, the achievements are linked to our account on live so we cannot delete them that way.

It appears I'm just going to have to continue to call Microsoft 3 times a day until something actually gets done or until I get a real answer and not some run-around excuse. I'll be sure to let you know when they finally admit it can be done and that they're just unwilling to do so. It should be a part of the Unauthorized Access Investigation process honestly.

I did a bit of digging while waiting for MS to find a solution to this. Apparently this has been going on since last October, now that was 5 months ago, and neither MS or EA have solved this breach within their network. I don't know whether it is MS or EA who ultimately is at fault, but I discovered that the reason we are been hacked is because hackers are using EA trading system to trade contents between account. They use our money to buy virtual goods and then trade it to their account and sell them on black markets. What I fail to understand is why neither MS or EA stop this function all together since clearly this function is inviting hackers to hack accounts for profit.

And the achievements hackers earned on our accounts are not random achievements either, we all have the same 3 unlocked, and there is a reason for that as well.

These three achievements are the evidence in which hacker conducts its business.

First - From the FIFA 12 Main Menu, scroll over to FIFA Ultimate Team. You will be prompted to make an FIFA Ultimate Team and the achievement will pop shortly after.

Second - While in the Ultimate Team menu, scroll down to Store. Simply buy any type of pack you want, I recommend a Bronze Pack as they are the cheapest at 400 coins. As soon as the pack is opened and you can see the players you got, the achievement will unlock.

Third - Using a second account create a new FUT team & open your free starter pack, quick sell all your players & trade the quick sell profit to your club in exchange for a low value card. Apparently you can "buy 2 premium gold packs an hour doing this". To test this I started up a new FUT team on my US account. Quick selling the entire starter pack earned 385 coins and took about a minute from the moment I entered FUT, now add on some time for trading the coins to your main account & deleting the account once done. Being ambitious, let's say you make 30 transaction in an hour period, that's around 12000 coins you will have traded (in exchange for 30 bronze contracts lets presume). In the same time you could have earned a maximum 3500 playing offline tournaments, but had some fun at least:)

So you can see why we want this three achievements removed and its associated purchases. First, it is impossible to earn this three achievements at the start of the game without commit fraud on the MS or EA's Terms of Service. And second it will blacken our names and brand us cheater by default.

So with the fact of our account was stolen and used illegally been established by MS, I fail to see why these achievements are still remained on our accounts.
