Stop using the recovery tool. It is not meant to be used daily. If you do it has been known to corrupt profiles. What you should do is purchase a USB Flash Drive or an Xbox 360 Memory Unit (if you have the
white style console) and store your profile on that. Then all you have to do is plug it in and go instead of waiting to recover your account.
To resolve your current issue you need to DELETE your profile from your console via the MEMORY TAB. Be sure you only delete the profile and not profile and contents. If you do the latter you will lose ALL
of your game saves! Once you DELETE PROFILE ONLY, go back to the MEMORY TAB and hit 'Y' then CLEAR CACHE. Now restart your console and recover your profile. Everything should be fine now. I suggest now that you move your profile onto a USB Flash Drive and
go from there from now on when you travel away from home.
