password when logging in to live

i set up a password and now i dont want to have it on there anymore but  i dont know how to get rid of it can someone help me please.

You can change the settings on your Xbox under Console Parental Controls.

If you can't change the settings because of a passcode on the console istself deleteing and recoving the account will fix it.  Just make sure you know the wild and password for your account.

I think everyone here is talking about different things. JCW: Can you please describe exactly what you are trying to do?

Account Password: paired with the WLID, this is needed to recover your profile and log in. Only needed to put in once
Parental Password: this may be asked for when purchasing content or changing settings. This is the password attached to the Parent Account's WLID.
Xbox LIVE Passcode: four digits, this is used every time you sign into LIVE. This can be removed by recovering the account.
Parental Passcode: another layer of security for changing the Family Safety Settings. This can only be removed by knowing it or answering the security question.
