Cant connect to Xbox Live while playing Black Ops 2! Help!!

I just bought Black Ops 2 and everytime I try and play a Notice comes up saying the current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live. Im getting kinda upset because Ive tryed connecting to my internet and it worked but still it says that! I have been able to play on Xbox Live for other games why not this one?! Im also on the free membership if that might have to do with anything and if so how do I change that or fix it to where I can play! Help pleaseee!!

You need an Xbox Gold Subscription to play BLOPS2 multiplayer. Those games (if you bought it new) came with a 2 day trial, that will not always work with other multiplayer games. You need to purchase a subscription to play is what that message means.

Oh I see, thank you! Any help on trying to purchase that? Lol Im knew to this Xbox stuff! Also how much would that be?

[/quote]Hey there aswaney!  You can check out the different Gold Subscriptions Microsoft has to offer by going to the Join Xbox LIVE Page. :)  You can also go to your local retailer and most retail stores sail Gold Subscriptions and the prices vary from the amount of Gold time you want to have.  A 3 month is normally around $24.99, and a 12 month Annual subscription is %59.99 (Approximately).  Keep in mind that you can go to Amazon.com and nomaly find some pretty good deals there.  I've seen Gold on there for as low as $39.99 for a 12 month before. I have a xbox live gold membership i have been an xbox user since the release of mw3 and i'm having almost the exact same problem at the moment with my xbox live membership still in effect. it says theres something wrong with the configuration of my wifi but this only came up after adding a third memory device in order to download Mob of the dead which i was able to play for one day... i can play BF3 just fine and everything else seems to be working on the new router (Apple airport wtvr it is) but the only thing having a problem is Black ops 2 and i cant figure out why or how to solve it.
