how to set up a Homegroup in Windows 8?

riginal Title:Need help with Homegroup setup

 

Okay here are the details.  I installed Windows 8 on my Desktop a month ago.  Well here is the problem.  I originally had a Homegroup setup from this particular desktop when it had Windows 7.  The thing is I did not backup the password, or the picture I took was deleted due to some other reason.  Now that the computer is set up brand spanking new I can't create a new Homegroup with any of my computers at home.  What can I do?  So far I know for sure that my dad's laptop, my netbook and desktop are not connected to the old homegroup.  I have yet to check our tv room desktop and my brother's desktop but I don't think any of them are connected.  I just purchased a wireless printer, and will also be setting up a NAS for our home network so I wanted to setup a homegroup to enable more sharing through our computers.

1.       Do you get any error message when you try to create a HomeGroup?
