So over the past couple of days I have been experiencing some issues. It began on YouTube, where I would "like" a video, and then be immediately re-directed to a website named (I strongly suggest you do not visit the site I'm about to mention, as I believe
it may give you a virus of some sort) "Soundfrost.org" (I believe that is what the site is called, however the main word is Soundfrost.) Anyway, at first I thought it was a YouTube advertisement and so left it be. I then began realising that a link to "Soundfrost"
was being sneakily placed at the very bottom of many of my comment boxes and post boxes on various sites (Reddit, YouTube, Etc...) It was then I decided to search around and do some research. Various blogs have said that this is a Trojan virus that begins
by doing the aforementioned symptoms, and then the virus becomes more dangerous by stealing Personal Information and Locking you out of your computer. I do not know if these blogs were legitimate however, as they all looked very similar in ways of layout,
and even with the same pictures and images, the only difference were the names. So I have run scans with many softwares such as Malware-Bytes and Microsoft Security Essentials but both have come up empty handed, however my problem persists. Anyway, I was wondering
if anyone had ever encountered this virus before, or if anyone had some tips or advice of what my next options are.
