Cannot save pictures as .jpeg, but only as png and .bmp

Original title: Missing File Extensions

 

Hi,

 I've been trying to save some pictures from the internet to my computer but I only have 2 file extension options (.png and .bmp). I can't save it as a jpeg file so that I can upload it for an online profile. I have saved pictures in the past as jpeg but the option no longer exists. Is there anyway to resolve this?

Hi BuccoFan,

Since you are using Internet Explorer 9, complete the steps below to:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
  2. Select Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History
  3. Click Delete

Now try saving the picture and you should have the option to save as jpeg.
