Several Service Control Manager Issues (Event ID's 7000, 7009, 7011)
Starting-up Windows first thing each day is slowly, well, getting slower. Went into the Event Log and wondering what may need to be done to fix/repair the following Service Control Manager issues:
Event ID 7011: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the SftService service.
Event ID 7009: A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319_X86 service to connect. (This appears three times)
Event ID 7009: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the ShellHWDetection service. (This appears three times)
Event ID 7000: The Dell Digital Delivery Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Are some of these related to the fact that I am not connected to the internet when firing-up my PC?
Method 2: Verify these services are started, in order:
DCOM Server Process Launcher
RPC Endpoint Mapper
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
Security Accounts Manager
Server
If they are not started, start them and check. Follow the steps below:
a) Click Start, type “services” on the start search box and press enter.
b) Scroll down and check for the above mentioned services.
c) Double click each of the services and start them if they are not started.
