Samsung Galaxy S3, Windows 7, drivers not found?

Hello! I got the Samsung Galaxy S3 yesterday (yay!) and I am trying to install it, and it tells me the CDC Serial driver wasn't found, and the "SAMSUNG_Android_SGH-I747" driver wasn't found. It made me think I can't do anything with my phone, but I have access to the various folders within my phone? What's going on? And what do I do? And please make to where where I, a 17 year old, can understand it? Thank you!

Download and Install Samsung Kies and check if the issue persists.

As Jessen P suggested, you can download the accompanying PC software for the phone. The smartphone works in Android platform and the PC works in Windows platform. As such, they can't communicate directly with each other. Therefore, a middleware, the KIES software is needed. This is required for operations such as contacts transfer, messaging, internet connectivity, etc. Also, serial port is required for these kind of operations. But as such, you can connect the phone in mass storage mode, meaning, the built-in storage of the phone can only be accessed, just like a USB storage device like pendrive.

Reply if your issue is not solved.
