Blue Screen of Death pci.sys

Did a fresh install of the OS, all uptodate drivers and softwares to the computer but it shuts down with a BSOD everytime i leave it open after a couple of hours or minutes (i do not know the exact time because i didnt wait, i just leave it open and see that its shut down with a BSOD at the morning) Thank you for your answers.

Glad to see you found the problem.

Third party software firewalls have been known to have this issue so it could be the firewall component of  ESET Smart Security that was the problem.

You may be able to run NOD32 antivirus without issue, and just use the built-in Windows firewall.

The license information for ESET Smart Security should work with ESET NOD32 antivirus.

The problem seems to be an interaction or clash between Windows drivers and the third party software firewall drivers, particularly in 64-bit Windows.

KB981180 may be a potentail fix for the problem and there are other hotfixes mentioned in the link.
