Windows 10 Home to Pro - invalid key

I have a laptop with preinstalled OS Windows 10 Home Sigle Language by vendor. I made the changes - install additional SSD to laptop and do clean setup OS to this SSD.

I have a CD with Windows 10 Pro for OEM and key.

I wanna upgrade my OS from Home to Pro, but when I'm input my Pro key - I got an error message with code: 0x004f050

I try to reinstall OS from setup usb-flash with Win 10 Pro, but when it finish - I see, that my OS have an digital activation for Win 10 Home AGAIN.

How I can upgrade from Home to Pro legally?

How I can disable digital activation for preinstalled Win 10 Home and go use my owned Win 10 Pro?

Answer
Answer

If its an OEM Windows 10 Pro license that has never been in use, then do the following.

Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using the following default product key:

VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

Review instructions how to perform an Easy Upgrade using the default key:

How to Perform an Easy Upgrade in Windows 10

After upgrading, proceed to enter the Windows 10 Pro product key.

Click Start > Settings Update & security > Activation > Change the product key then enter the new product key then click Next to Activate

Activate Your Windows 10 License via Microsoft Chat Support
