Why can’t I get to my home page with windows 10? I can get to any site that I type in but can’t get to (Twcc.com).

Follow the below suggested methods and check if it helps.

Method 1

Place the computer in a Clean Boot state and check if there are any third party applications to be causing the slow down.

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: Steps mentioned for Windows 8/8.1, will work fine with Windows 10.

Method 2

a. Press Windows Key + R to open run command, type inetcpl.cpl.
b. Under Internet Options, go to Connections tab.

c. Click on the LAN Settings button.
d. Then uncheck the option Use a proxy server for your LAN.
e. Click Apply.

Method 3

Step 1 Release and renew IP address.

You may also follow these steps and check if it helps.

a. Press Windows key + X, Select Command Prompt (Admin) and then press ENTER.

b. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:

                ipconfig /release

                ipconfig /renew

c. Close the command prompt.

Step 2 Reset TCP/IP settings.

a. Press Windows key + X, Select Command Prompt (Admin) and then press ENTER.

b. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:

                netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Note: If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:

                netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

c. Reboot the computer.
