word vba macro to capture and replace current selection containing breaks

Hi Community,

I often copy from the web into word to read and highlight/annotate long Q&A pages about tricky issues...

Can anyone help with a macro which captures an entire selection (which may include line, para, section or page breaks), and replace it?

Would be a major help to clean up the text to be able to read it.  Instead of  multiple find/replaces, or construct a new macro for each occasion...

Here's some (short) examples - to replace ad hoc with one para break:

(always different! I've done a LONG macro which catches most, but ad hoc select and replace would be far easier)

Thanks :)

Maybe you just haven't understood the answer. Either that or the issue is that your problem description lacks clarity.
