Microsoft Announces Windows 10
Not Windows 9, not Threshold
I couldn't reckon where to put this. Guess it's talking about an update of sorts.
Cheers,
Drew

Um, ok. Can anybody translate?? I think it's Russian, @ least, that's what it looks like to me.
Oh silly me... and then I remembered Bing will translate...

If anyone is interested, I, now, have Windows 10 TP x64 running as a VM in Hyper-V.
Have the x86, as well, for comparison but, of course, prefer using x64
Cheers,
Drew

The Task View button is cool & better than using Alt-Tab. But, seems unnecessary as one could, always see & select things via the Taskbar. But, still, it's fun playing w/ Win10, discovering & leaning all that it offers.
Cheers,
Drew

Even though that Task View button may be 'easier' than Alt-Tab, both icons are unnecessary, a waste of space & redundant. One could & still, can glide over the Taskbar to see & select things w/out that Task view button. There are lots of ways to search; heck, now, a search box is back on a start menu w/ (another) search button right beside its button, yeeesh, eh? Bit of overkill, really.
Two things I would like changed:
1. If there has to be a start menu, have it w/out Tiles there, as well. They can be removed but, one by one. I want 1-click ability to get rid of that whole portion of the start 'panel' being left w/ just the 'menu' part.
2. APPs can be made Full Screen but, want them to not open that way initially.
Cheers,
Drew
