Error: Unable to copy to Admin$\system32\dwrcs.exe when try to use DameWare NT Utilities Mini-remote to remote control a workstation.

Original Title: unable to copy to Admin$\system32\dwrcs.exe.

I am trying to use DameWare NT Utilities Mini-remote to remote control a workstation.   Other workstation remote control works fine.   On the workstation I am having problem with , the following message comes up:

Unable to copy
C:\Program Files\Dameware Development\Dameware mini remote control\DWRCS.exe

To

\\workstation-name\ADMIN$\System32\DWRCS.exe

 

System Error: 5

System Message:

Access Denied

 

 

I don't think this is a DameWare issue since the other workstations are accessible.   I think this might be a Windows issue related to some sort of security.  Does anyone know?

Is your computer connected to any server or domain?


You may follow the steps suggested in this link:

Access denied messages when connecting to remote PC
